I think maybe you jinxed yourself yesterday, with that "because tomorrow it may snow" line.
I could never live happily in Wisconsin, and I admire the hardy souls who do. I sometimes wonder if I moved back to a colder climate, would I adjust, again? It didn't take me long to lose my Bostonian hardiness to the AZ heat. Now I feel chilly if the temp is less than 80 degrees. That's not a good thing.
...but, but....you were AWAY so often! And not in the darkness of the cold Arctic. Though there's a thought for next year, to give us a glimpse of Northern Lights....
at least there isn't some sad, tattered plastic bag in your picture.
I am moving to ann arbor in july and your blog has made me *quite anxious* about next winter. although maybe this winter was so awful that next winter will be nicer.
It's beyond sad. I can't imagine living through such a winter as you've had.
