I would say trying to make peace between dial-up and flickr (Internet) photo loading is like putting two animals with sharp fangs in the same cage and hoping for harmony. It cannot be. Sooner or later a fight will ensue. Tonight, flickr is telling me it will not load if I persist in pairing it with dial-up. I have coaxed, sang, pleaded – nothing.

Tomorrow I am up north in WiFi land again.
