I've done that for years: before the digital age, I'd work hard on putting together albums of our travels. Each trip had its own photo book. Now, when I travel with a young family, I put together printed photo books.
It takes forever! (Well, several solid days of work.) I am determined to do it now, because there is a sale at Blurb (my favorite photo book app) and the savings for me will be huge, if only I can get it done by Tuesday.
Still, I begin the day with Saturday stuff. Wonderful early fall Saturday stuff.
(Kitten duty: I swear these two have blue eyes!)
(the Big Bed, turning autumnal)
Cozy breakfast.
Then a bike ride with Ed to Stoneman's corn farm. This is a nostalgic trip -- the last one of the year. Today was their final harvest.
Thank you, thank you for a magnificent month of corn!
(on the way home...)
And by mid morning, I am near downtown Madison, by the Square, meeting Snowdrop and her mom for a farmers market run.
It's a beautiful day for it.
I dont have a long list of purchases -- edamame, radishes, mushrooms. Melon, flowers.
At the end of our loop, we pause to watch this marching band. One of the kids' baby sitters is a member and it's always fun to stamp to their energetic music making.
(here she is!)

I'm home just about at noon and the rest of the day is spent moving pictures and creating text. One third done! There is hope!
