…student-hood!





To be done with exams. To have that closure. Semester’s over and now I get to… whatever. I get to be somewhere else, someone else, everything stops, then starts again in a new frame, a fresh window.

I don’t really want to have a fresh window – I like my windows with their imperfect view onto a parking lot and a dumpster.

And I don’t usually want their past again, that student stage of uncertainty, but on the day they’re done with a semester, with exams, with school, I think – ahhh, that is one cool time.
