fruit
If ever you need a break, head out to a farmette where berries and cherries grow. On a day that starts out chilly, but then turns cheerful. (Even as the cherries are wonderfully sour.)
A place of flowers. Big flowers. With bees working harder than us mortals.
And of course, berries.
(The rest of my time was indeed spent on work. I’m hustling with schoolwork, so that I can take the week-end off. Off and away. To where serious quantities of berries and cherries grow. I think.)

I thought you had a weekend job now...

I do, but the schedule is very irregular during the summer months.
ReplyDeleteThose are some spectacular, up-close photos, Nina. Do you have a favorite camera lens you're using to get them?
ReplyDeleteNo, Sara. Not even my regular SLR camera -- just the Sony cybershot. Those were all taken up close, with little or no zoom, battling the mosquitoes -- they love the overgrown fruit trees and bushes even more than I do!
ReplyDeleteDo you think it's funny that we both blogged about berries/fruit on the same day?
ReplyDeleteAs usual, really wonderful pictures. Perfect for a gloomy day!
