from d.c.: food and water
Is there anything as important? Okay, love. Warmth. Yeah, I need a warm abode.
But as it’s well documented that I am rich in the latter two, so let’s just focus on food and water. My twenty-four hours had so much of it! Let me go back to Saturday night’s dinner and run through the next twenty-four hours, chronologically:
Dinner:
Corn bisque with a shrimp
Breakfast:
French toast
Snack:
fresh and honest cupcakes
Canal:
The C&O, again. This time running through Georgetown
Canal:
taking water from it
River:
The Potomac, again, at the end of the day
Canal:
…and back to the C&O
Dinner:
ending with a berry pavlova

Maybe you could post about how you keep such a girlish shape and eat like you do! I am envious.
ReplyDeleteKaren, I've decided that Nina just takes pictures of these delights and never eats them. It is the only rational explanation, don't you think? I'd like to order one serving each of the corn bisque and berry pavlova, please. Failing that, a close-up of the berry pavlova would be nice.
ReplyDeletehey, I always eat what I show here. Though sometimes, just sometimes, I leave a bite behind. Example: I could not finish every last crumb of the French toast. Or, I could, but chose not to.
